Stephanie Towle is from Orlando, Florida. She is currently a junior at Oklahoma City University and is a member of the OCU Pom Dance Team that placed 1st in regionals and placed top 8 at Nationals in Ann Arbor, Michigan this year. She began taking dance classes at young age at Orlando Ballet School where she performed numerous roles including mouse, party child, angel, soldier, and Clara’s friend for Orlando Ballet’s Nutcracker. She trained on scholarship at Orlando Ballet’s summer Senior Intensive and has competed in American Dance Competition/International Dance Competition where she was awarded a Duncan Cooper Contemporary Scholarship. Stephanie continued her dance training at Marshall Ellis Dance School and competed in the JUMP and NUVO dance competitions receiving ballet scholarships at both. She recently filmed a Fitness through Dance Commercial as a featured jazz and tap dancer. Besides competing on the national stage representing OCU Pom/Dance Team, Stephanie’s favorite performance to date occurred this summer when she played the role of Hunyak at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Art’s summer stock production of CHICAGO.
