Kate Luber

Kate Luber is a native of Oklahoma City who began dancing at the age of 5 under the instruction of Kay Sandel & Lisa Webb at Classical Ballet School. She continued her training through high school with Stacey Spitler & at Ballet Oklahoma. While completing her degree at Oklahoma State University, she taught ballet as well as tap & jazz at the award winning Encore! Dance Studios in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Kate later completed work towards her MFA in Dance at Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of Dance and Arts Management under the direction of Jo Rowan. During her time at OKCU, Kate was the Artistic Director and eventually studio owner of Classical Ballet School; during her tenure as director, she staged various full length ballets including The Wizard of Oz, Beauty & the Beast, & The Sleeping Beauty. She attained her Leap ‘N Learn dance pedagogy certification which focuses on developmentally appropriate training for young dancers. Kate prides herself on her dedication to building a strong foundation of proper technique and terminology and is excited to be joining Kim Massay Dance Productions.
