
Kim Massay began dance training at the age of three, taking classes from her mother, Kim Massay earned a B.A. degree in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma Ballet School. While training at OU, Kim was in the OU Ballet company and did the Nutcracker each year of her college career. Both a student and teacher of dance, she performed in eight Lyric Theater musical productions. Choreography and performance credits also highlighted Kim's talents as a troupe member of Carl Cappock Dancers, a member of inaugural University of Oklahoma Pom pon Squad, a member of OU Ballet company, and director./choreogrpaher of the senior year Sooner Scandals Productions. Annual trips to New York and Los Angeles for workshops in dance have enriched her training via study with outstanding artisits such as Luigi, Ron Forella, Don Emmons, Phil Black, Steps 56th Street Studio and the choreographer for The Tap Dance Kid, Danny Daniels, Joe Tremaine, The Edge and Jackie Sleight. Her competition Classes have achieved highest honors nationwide including National Overall Lines from 1990-2008, Star Search 92 Teen Dancers, The Star Search 90 Jr. finalists and Disney World Performers 90, 97, and 2002. They have won many competitions including first overall at Starlight, Showstoppers, Showbiz, Starpower, West Coast, Nuvo, and Jump. In 1995 Kim was selected as Central U.S. contact for dance casting for Star Search and in 1996 she was the choreogrpaher for the OU Pom squad. From a roster of state-wide beauty pageants, community celebrations and fashion shows to Arts Festivals and Cotillions, Oklahoma Dance Choreogrpaher Kim Massay has established her career in dance education. Finally Kim used to be Co-Owner of L.A. Underground Dance Convention, Starlight Productions Dance Competition, and Company Dance Dance Convention. Kim has been named to the National Small Business Conference for the Republican Party and the National Leadership Award, 2 years in a row. As the owner of the studio, Kim's enthusiasm for dance education and performance has ranked Kim Massay Dance Productions a leader in the performing arts and business phenomenon.
Star Massay-Cook has danced with KMDP since the age of two and has competed in all competition classes winning numerous overall awards. She traveled with the company to New York, L.A., and Orlando. Through her travels she was able to take from some of the best choreographers in the counrty. After graduation, Star moved to Orlando to dance at Disney World in the "Festival of the Lion King" and "Fantasmic." She also played many of the wel known characters such as Belle and Alice for many parades and shows. After finishing a contract for Disney she moved to L.A. where she would appear in music videos with Frankie J and Baby Bash, as well as appear in an Old Navy commercial. She has spent the last year back in Disney before coming back to Oklahoma where she can work her "Disney Magic" on some of our young dancers.

Skye Massay-Cook has danced since she was 2 years old. She has won many awards throughout her years of dancing and has been taught by some of the most prestigious choreogrpahers across the United States. She attended the University of Oklahoma and was on the University Pom Squad for 2 years. She is continuing her dance education by traveling around to dance conventions and studios across the country taking classes and workshops from many outstanding choreographers. Skye teaches and choreographs many of our compeition numbers and has won awards for her choreography. Skye also has been teaching masterclasses and choreographing for other studios. With her collection of multicolored Nikes she is on her way to the top!!
Stori Massay-Cook is one of our teachers who also choreographs and assissts. Stori has studied with dominant choreographers from across the country and has also won numerous awards and scholarships at the different competitions and conventions we attend yearly. Stori has danced at Radio City Music Hall and the Edge Performing Art Center in Los Angeles. Stori is currently working at Eves and LuLu D's along with continuing her dance education.

Ian Sweet- Ian is our wonderful Hip-Hop teacher and also choreographs for KMDP along with other studios. Ian has won numerous awards at dance competitions and conventions we attend yearly. Ian also has studied with amazing choreographers across the United States. He is continuing his dance training and traveling with competitions to learn all aspects of dance. Ian also auditioned for the show So You Think You Can Dance making it to Vegas!

Callye McCollum- Callye received her classical training from the school of Ballet Oklahoma, Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education, and the Oklahoma Sumer Arts Institute. She has also danced with Perpetual Motion Modern Dance Company.
